gather to Learn, Share, and Grow
At Rooted to Last, our events create space for leaders, organizations, and communities to come together with care and intention. These gatherings build a network of networks, offering time to highlight expertise and experiences, support practices and explore ideas, and strengthen relationships that help movements endure.
Every event is designed to nourish both people and organizations, and importantly center practice.

Stronger Together: Collaboration as Movement Infrastructure
Monday, April 13, 2026
8:30am – 4:00pm
Location: Sunrise Banks Headquarters, 2525 Wabash Ave, St Paul, MN 55114
Rooted to Last hosts Taking Root Gatherings to bring together social justice practitioners from across Minnesota to learn from each other and strengthen how we work together. These gatherings focus on real time movement challenges and create space for honest exchange, practical learning, and shared strategy. Each session centers one critical topic and equips participants with tools, ideas, and approaches they can apply right away.
For our April gathering, we will focus on collaboration as movement infrastructure.
Collaboration is not a side strategy. It is how movements endure, build shared power, and create change at scale. This gathering will explore what it takes to design collaboration with intention — from using technology to strengthen shared work, to building local–national coalitions, to practicing true intergenerational collaboration..
